Born in 1953, in China, Hing Biu also known as Henry Peeters has captured the colors, light, and texture in his impressionist paintings. The landscapes are delicately palette knifed onto the canvas adding rich depth to the composition.

Peeter's technique, in which the palette knife is used in lieu of the brush, is all the more interesting when you examine the levels of built up oil paint on various segments of the painting.
