As a sculptor Myrna found her calling later in life after retiring from the business world, giving her the freedom to allow her creativity to blossom. Under the guidance of Master Sculptor Frank Varga, Myrna began working first in clay and then moving into carving stone. She has produced works in both alabaster and marble.
In 2004 Myrna traveled to Carrara Italy with Varga to begin work on "TANGO". The unfinished marble was shipped back to the studio in Delray Beach where it was completed. Since then it's been on display and shown in the Boca Raton Art Guild as well as the "Creative Dimension" exhibit in Delray Beach where it was juried and received a Judge's Recognition from WITVA Women in the Visual Arts.
Myrna has created a beautiful piece of art, brought to life in a romantic moment of time. Thank you for visiting this site to see how she expresses her vision in stone. This is one of a kind sculpture which is currently on exhibit at the City Hall in the City of Boynton Beach. After several years of work it was completed in 2010 and has been on public exhibit since that time. The sculpture measure 36" h x 16.5" w x 13.5 d is hand signed and dated 2010 by the artist. The approximate weight is 550 lbs and shipping can be arrange for local, national or international clients.
